I got the honor of hosting a women's retreat for Equine assisted therapy for a great group of gals. Each gal picked and partnered with thier own horse. We talked about what we wanted to "shed" in life while grooming the horses, we had blindfolded exercises to build trust with thier partner, , they also learned to safely and confidently lead the horse around cones and turning the horse, and the final exercise was about trust and bonding with the horse. It was a blessed day of personal growth, and the horses got just as much out of it.
