For years I was not well educated on the benefits of muzzles for dogs in training and safety. Wow, has the world come full circle...Humans can embrace this new idea by knowing that the benefits for health and safety... we will prevail!! I know that sometimes it feels weird, uncomfortable, not normal, but it does allow us to go out in the world more safely these days. I now look at dogs and their humans wearing muzzles as a “good job” for everyone doing what makes a more healthy and happy world! Stay safe!

Our new dog Misty is definitely finding her confidence...she is embracing her own safe place to chill and relax...and it is in her crate. I was ONCE a dog owner that poo foo’d away from crates, cause I thought it was “mean”...I now know that crates provide dogs with confidence and clear expectations...and in Misty’s case, a quiet place to relax!!

A week ago, our family adopted this adorable 2 year old dog. Her name is Misty!! She is very nervous of people and we are building her confidence with lots of routine and guidance. As a dog trainer, I truly believe that Misty’s behaviors and life began the day we met her, I didn’t need to know where she had been or what she had struggled with in the past...I want her to be the best dog with consistency and obedience from this day forward. Sometimes as humans we forget, our lives CAN begin new TODAY, if that is how you plan it...make each day what you can and be proud of that as you go forward! 🐕❤️🐕🐾🐾
