Do you want to get paid to be outdoors, getting exercise and being around dogs?!
I'm looking for a mature, reliable, responsible, honest and caring dog walker who believes in providing the best care for dog and human clients.
Essential Duties
Pick up in your vehicle and walk groups (packs) of 4-7 dogs on leash then Drop off
Train and reinforce good manners and basic obedience
Report throughout the workday to business owner, you will need to have a smart phone
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to take direction and work productively on your own
Responsible, reliable, and with a kind, nurturing personality
Must be able to transport dogs in your vehicle. Should be a Dog friendly car.
You will care for pets in all types of weather. You must be comfortable (and prepared) to work and drive in rain and heat.
We train all of our walkers on the job, but it’s a great plus if you already have:
Understanding of dog behavior
Experience with dogs in groups
Physical strength and stamina: You must be able to handle larger dogs if needed, and keep control of a leash if a dog pulls. You must also be able to be on your feet and walk for at least 60 minutes at a time several times a day.
This is an independent contractor, part time position, occasionally we need early evening or weekend walks.
Big Plus if you can pet sit my clients dogs in your home or in theirs.
