Have you ever thought about fostering? Now is the time kids are almost out of school for the summer. They can earn volunteer hours by fostering. It’s a great learning experience and it will also help if you are thinking of adding a pet to your family. Kiddos can see how much responsibility it takes to own a pet without making the commitment. Goode life provides all the supplies needed and we pay for all the vetting. It cost you absolutely nothing but a little time and love. Here are a few of the sweet babies we have gotten the last couple of weeks just for an example. These babies pictured are NOT available for adoption quite yet and are already in foster homes. Sherby is a 6yr old lap chihuahua she’s super sweet and loves her toys. She is currently in a foster home with cats. She will need an adult only home or older respectful kids. She will go potty outside but does also occasionally use a puppy pad.

Smokey AKA Taco was adopted from us as a puppy he is now 6yrs old and such a good boy. He was surrendered with his furry friend Scrappy who is 7yrs old. When they were surrendered to us we were told that Scrappy was not potty trained. These boys are currently in boarding and love everyone they meet. They are both available for adoption or available to foster.

All 3 are utd on vaccines Sherby is spayed and the boys are both neutered. They are microchipped, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. If interested in any of these 3 sweet puppers please submit your application on our website. Glrescue.org.

Due to the potential of storms today we are cutting the event short. We will have a couple volunteers at petsmart cleaning up from yesterday’s event. We will only have a few cats there today. The safety of our volunteers, foster cats and potential adopters are our main concern. All of our adoptable pets are on petfinder. If you see one you would like to meet please submit an app at Glrescue.org. Our adoption coordinator will reach out to set up a personal meet and greet. Please be safe out there today and we will see you next Saturday.
