To prevent crowding and overbreeding, The Ramsey Loft maintains a cap of ten breeding pair at any given time and hatch controls between planned clutches. Each pair may hatch one clutch, which will be evaluated for the first 6 months before I make keeper selections. Initial vaccines for PMV and Paratyphoid are given at six weeks, followed by boosters at 9 weeks. All babies spend the first six months being worked with and evaluated for temperament. If one or both are improvements in temperament or structure over both parents, the baby that is most ideal in structure and temperament will stay, the parents will retire together, and the sibling will be made available. If neither baby is an improvement over both parents, the pair will be allowed to hatch another clutch after the first babies go home. We strive to maintain space in quarantine to take in rescues for evaluation and medical care. Once confirmed healthy and fully vaccinated, we look for adoptive or foster homes for them. Feed, meds, and veterinary care are expensive. We do not do bulk, and there is no discount for multiples. Though I favor local pick up, Shipping is available with in the continental US.
