IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING BOBCAT FEVER

Recently there has been an uptick in cases of Bobcat Fever (Cytauxzoonosis), a potentially deadly cat illness caused by ticks that carry the disease.

We highly recommend tick prevention for all cats that spend any time outdoors.

Over the counter options are:

Seresto collar

Frontline Plus

These medications can be purchased at any pet supply store such as PetSmart or Petco.

By prescription only:

Bravecto Plus Topical

Revolution Plus Topical

Bravecto Plus Topical can be purchased in-clinic or ordered from a trusted online pharmacy such as Vetsource or Chewy. Revolution Plus can be ordered online.

Dispensing prescription medications require the patient to have been seen in-clinic within the last 12 months and all vaccines to be up to date. If not, this would require you to schedule an exam for your pet.

April is rabies month! We have canine and feline vaccines discounted for entire month.
Canine 1 year $15. ( regular $22)
Canine 3 year $35. ( regular $42)
Feline Purevax 1 year $31 ( regular $38)
*** Must have had a prior rabies vaccine to qualify for 3 year rabies***

Remember, the state of TN requires all dogs and cats over 6 months of age to be vaccinated against rabies by a licensed vet.
