It is with heavy hearts that we share some very sad news. We just learned today that our sweet boy Rudy has passed away. 🌈💔

​Since early 2018, Preppy Pet has been blessed to be a home away from home for this incredible boy. Over the years, our staff didn't just care for him—we fell completely in love with him. Whether he was living up to his playful nickname "Rampage," or acting as our sweet "Rootie Tootie" and "RuRu," his bright spirit filled our rooms and our hearts with so much joy.

​One of the greatest gifts of Rudy’s time with us was the deep connection we built with his mom and dad. Becoming so close with his parents over all these years made Rudy feel like family to every single one of us. Being trusted to love him alongside them was a true honor.

​Our hearts are heavy as we send all our love, thoughts, and deepest condolences to Rudy’s family during this painful time. Thank you for sharing your boy with us for all these wonderful years.

​Run free, sweet RuRu. You will forever be missed and never forgotten. ❤️🐾 🌈

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our sweetest longtime regulars, Laila Ali. At 14 years old, she brought so much warmth and joy to our shop over the past five years, with her last stay with us just last month.

​Over those five years, she truly became a beloved part of our extended family. Watching her grace us with her presence for so long was an absolute privilege, and every quiet moment and gentle greeting with her meant the world to all of us.

​We want to extend our deepest love and sympathy to her wonderful mom and dad. You gave her the absolute best life imaginable, filled with endless love, comfort, and devotion. It was always so clear how cherished she was, and we are so grateful for the trust you placed in us to care for your sweet girl over the years.

​Rest easy, sweet girl. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered by every single one of us. 🐾❤️
