Well Good and not so good news. Good news is it’s healing properly and no surgery!!🙌🏼 Not so good news is I still have to wear this for 2 more weeks. He will recheck June 12th and we will go from there. It may be end of June/beginning of July before I can start work again. I’m so sorry everyone😢please just keep me in your thoughts and prayers💜I’m ready for this to be over😭

Good afternoon everyone. I wish I had more of an update for you. Truth is I’ve been struggling with my insurance. When all this happened we had just started the process of getting on my husband’s insurance through his work. West Tn Bone/Joint could not find me in their system. Turns out, Blue Cross had literally ALL of my info wrong! We’ve been on the phone nonstop and it’s been a process. Praying that now everything is fixed and I can get in with the clinic as soon as possible. They will take me without insurance, but the cost out of pocket is way more than I have right now. I’m doing ok. Still a little sore, but its not to bad. I thank you all for your patience with me. Trust me, I’m missing your babies, and I’m ready to get back to it. I will update more as soon as I can. Thanks💜🐾

I’ve been debating all weekend on how to post this.
Unfortunately, I will not be grooming for at least 4-6wks. I will know more after I see the orthopedic doctor. Friday evening, I fell going up our stairs into our kitchen and held up my hand to block my face from hitting the door frame. I heard a “pop” and knew something was wrong. My hand hit the point of the doorframe and I broke my hand just below my knuckle on my ring finger. I will happily give references for while I’m out, and will keep you updated on when I’ll be able to work again. I will be in touch with everyone who has an upcoming appointment. Just please be patient with me. I’m moving slower and I’m having to use my non dominant hand. Your patience and prayers are greatly appreciated 💜🐾

Update Friday at 11 am- we are out of large and extra large crates at this point. If you've already spoken to us to reserve one then we have you covered, but we don't have anymore. We do have some smalls and mediums left.

We are running very low on straw due to high demand. Please only take what you absolutely need so we can help as many animals as possible.

We would love it if every pet got to live in the house with their people and enjoy fun quality time outside, but that's not the case. Some live outside full time, and others stay outside while their humans are at work. In either of these situations, owners in Jackson are legally required to meet certain standards of housing. Dogs must be over 6 months old to live outdoors, and they have to have a wind and waterproof dog house with 4 solid walls, roof, floor, and adequately sized door. They also have to have a separate source of shade, constant, clean water, and a sanitary environment. Make sure you're meeting the requirements so your pup can be safe and comfy. And, as always, if you have questions- call us! We're happy to help educate!

UPDATE ON LILY 5/7
We are home💜
This morning she woke up with a 102 fever, but it finally broke! They took her off the fluids to see how she’d do, and by this afternoon she had started eating and wanting to get up and walk around. Since she was showing progress, and hasn’t had any more seizures, they let us go home. They ended up scheduling the MRI for September since all her labs/tests were good and she was up and alert. But we were sent home with diastat just incase she were to have another seizure.

I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard in my life.
To all clients that were supposed to come this week, I would like to take these next few days with my daughter to recoup, and watch her closely incase this happens again.
I will be in touch with you by Monday and we will work out a schedule. This has been an overwhelming experience, and I need some time to rest. We all do💜🐾

LILY UPDATE 5/6
Her fever got up to 104 today and she threw up a couple more times. We FINALLY broke it! And we got her to keep some liquids down. She was able to eat some food also.
As of this evening, her temp was at 99.5, shes still holding everything down. She toddled around in the room for a bit, watched her favorite movie(Inside Out 2) and is now trying to fall asleep. Please keep praying for our girl💜We are so ready to be back home.

UPDATE ON LILY 5/6
MRI has been put on hold for 2wks due to her throwing up first thing this morning. She also has had a fever of 100. It went down once with medication, but is now at 100 again. They are having to redue her IV because when she got sick, it went all over and they need to give her fluids.
We are beyond exhausted, and just mentally drained. We are staying here until we can for sure keep something down her. Seeing her go through all of this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. Please please keep our girl in your prayers💜

Thank you to all that have called, txt, msgd..everything. This has been so hard to go through.
Her EEG was good!🙌🏼but because her seizure lasted for long time, they’re doing an MRI on her tomorrow. I will know more after they do that tomorrow. She’s been up trying to toddle around. She’s still sleepy from all of it. Only wants mama and daddy. But she has eaten, using the bathroom normally, and is talking to us. Our girl is back. Now we just gotta figure out if this will be on going, or possibly(hopefully) just a one time thing. Keep her in your prayers please! We need them😢💜

Last night my little girl had a seizure. She is stable, but we are in LeBonheur in Memphis for further testing. Until the results come back, I won’t know how long we will be here.
I’m not at home near my book, so if you know we have an appointment for this week, please get with me.
I will get everyone rescheduled whenever I’m back home.
