Ancona chickens are excellent foragers, great producers of white eggs (averaging 220 per year) and skilled at evading predators.

We have 8 chicks available.

We also have Cream Legbar, which have a sweet temperament and lay blue eggs.

Heifer calf should be ready for weaning and selling in the Spring. Born in early November, she is largely a dairy mix of Jersey, Brown Swiss, Dexter and Normandy, plus a quarter Angus. We are training her on a halter, and she enjoys much of her time on pasture with mom, Eowyn.

Two-year old open heifer with Jersey, Dexter, Angus and Brown Swiss genetics. She could potentially make a good dairy cow and/or mother to beef cattle. Has been handled with a halter and is available.

Cow in milk for sale. Dexter/Jersey/Angus cross. Excellent mother that puts out good beef calves when bred with Angus semen. Never had trouble birthing, nursing nor mastitis. Has really good handles for milking-- i.e. soft and long teats, free from any sores or cracks. Her milk has a nice neutral flavor.

8 years old.

She is really sweet, respects electric fences, and leads very nicely on a halter. The only challenge is milking her. She would require an experienced, patient milker and a stanchion. We tie her back leg to the post. She just runs out of patience, when she decides she does not want to stand there anymore.

Asking $1,600.

She is the black one in the photo. The red calf was born July (and not for sale)

Isaac’s traditionally fermented sauerkraut is ready and more to come! This young man has been diligently caring for his cabbages from seed to kraut since February, and it has paid off with an exceptionally good harvest!

"In everything give thanks..."

Our turkeys are healthy and growing well, preparing to grace your Thanksgiving table, as you look back at the Lord's goodness this past year.

This is a good bunch of birds-- so healthy and robust. When I do chores every morning, I see that they have literally grown overnight! They are bigger every day and enjoying greens and grasshoppers (as well as our self-prepared, locally sourced organic grain mix), as they happily roam the pasture.

Get your orders in before they sell out!

$75 per bird, plus separate processing fee.

They will be processed and delivered to you in CB fresh (never frozen) two days before Thanksgiving. This makes all the difference in juiciness and flavor.

Thanksgiving turkey seeds have germinated and have recently been transplanted outside. They are so cute, exploring the great outdoors. I love their little chirps when they find something good!
