This week we here at Family Paw want to show our love for one of our dearest patrons Stanley.
Stanley went by many names, Stan, Stan the Man, Manly, Stanley Manly and of course Stinky man 🐾
Stanley lived a long happy 16 years with his mom, brother and grandma always by his side. He’s been on a many road trips with mom in his younger days. And when he wasn’t with them he’d be with his second family at Family Paw.
We’d love to share some of our favorite memories of Stanley.
Every day Stanley would come in for daycare he would run in so excited and take off down the hallway just to get to the end and run right back to the lobby to leave a special morning gift 🚽😭
In the beginning of his days at daycare he was such a sassy man, but over time he became such a sweet gentle old man.
If he wasn’t licking your ankles he would choose a white dog to follow around and lick them like a cat giving a bath 🛁
We’ll miss giving him little Mohawks, hearing the jingle of his collar as he ran down our hallways, our wet ankles and our perfect participant for picture days.
He spent his last day at daycare with us, getting lots of love, cuddles, treats, his hair brushed and an early Halloween photoshoot with an added bonus for all of us. He ended his night with a nice cheeseburger and some chocolate because we all need something sweet.
We will all miss you Stanley, we know you’ll find a perfect friend up there to let you lick them senseless. 🌈🐾
