Meet Gigi.

She joined in for a few shots during our session with Giuseppe and proved that age doesn’t matter when taking adorable photos. At just 3 months old, this little Doxy was already showing off her spunky personality. She was a little shy at first, but once she settled in, she gave me some seriously adorable poses.

And let’s be honest, she had one very important job to do that day: stay close to Dad. Total daddy’s girl who mostly kept her in his arms for the family photos.

She may be tiny now, but I have a feeling this little girl is going to grow into quite the personality. Her parents are already planning a session just for her when she’s older, and I can’t wait to see how much she changes while keeping that same sweet Gigi spark.

Meet Bruce.

This sweet happy boy was all smiles for this photo session with his cute color coordinated family. (Look at his little jacket!) Bruce had been going through treatments and was having one of his better days when we met at the park to capture his spirit and bond with everyone in his life over the years. He posed, played in the grass, and got lots of pets.

I absolutely adore these between the colors, the light, and just remembering how perfect and easy he was to photograph. His family was gifted this Forget Me Not session by a friend who knew the importance of having these photos before it was too late. Now they have a collection of images with this special boy and the memories of this session for a lifetime. Rest easy, Bruce.

Meet Nina & Polly.

The dreamiest sunrise with the sweetest little family.

We met at a quiet park to celebrate Nina’s birthday and capture some family photos with her sister Polly. Nina brought all the spunky Maltese energy, while Polly was her adorable, chunky pug self. Both were absolute naturals in front of the camera! And it wouldn’t be a birthday session without a cake—or in this case, a cheeseburger. I loved this idea!

The light was perfection, the girls were little stars, and we ended up with so many beautiful images to fill an album with memories of these two sweet faces.

Some mornings are just a little extra magical.

Meet Giuseppe.

This sweet black and tan dachshund actually picked his own name, and I think it fits him very well for a little guy with a big personality! He has been living with a recent cancer diagnosis, but every day he still shows up with that happy little face and the biggest heart.

At sunrise, we met with his family at the park to capture the bond they share. The quiet moments, the snuggles, the little looks that say everything without saying a word. I have so many gorgeous shots from this session that ended up in a Forever Storybook Album that I can’t wait to share with you.

These are the moments that matter. The ones that become even more precious with time.
