I (Amber Rain Mathewson) went to the farm this evening for the first time since the day I broke my leg and ankle. Since I returned to work last week, I have been doing more and more each day.
I was SO EXCITED to see Derek and Fiona again, finally!! They were both a bit afraid of my crutch and a storm was blowing in, but they were still drawn to Tristan, so I stepped back and let them find comfort with him.
Denver came up to say hey, and Firecracker ran to his eating place in hopes of getting another meal! Haha
I am so excited to be able to spend more and more time at the farm going forward! For now, though, Tristan will continue working with the donkeys while I heal!

We have some exciting news!

WR Gunning For Glory Aka “Gunner” has found his new home!

It was such a joy working with him. He taught me a lot and helped further my knowledge in the horse training world! I saw his potential from the beginning and I knew he deserved a family to further his training as I move off!

Now he has a little girl, boy and family who loves him so much!

Congratulations Dani Campbell, thank you for taking in and loving this sweet boy!
