A bonded pair of petite little girls, approximately eleven weeks old and weighing under two and a half pounds, are currently seeking their ideal forever home. Although they were born to a stray mother in our back barn, and we initially planned to keep them as working barn cats, their small size has led us to believe they would thrive better in a loving home. Having been handled daily, they have developed extremely friendly and loving personalities. One of their favorite activities is playing with the ice in their drinking water!Please note adopting two kittens can provide numerous benefits, including companionship, energy expenditure, and reduced likelihood of loneliness and behavioral problems. I believe the love of horses is passed down through generations and is genetic. Hilde's youngest granddaughter had her first ride on Marilyn, and her expression is telling - she insisted she was capable of riding by herself and asked everyone to let go, another equestrian in the making!
We are so proud of the petite rider!💪🏻❤️

Please join us in congratulating Pippi on her recent purchase of Turn On The Charm, lovingly referred to as Bananas 🍌 🍌🍌. Having ridden with us for over seven years, Pippi is now excited to own her own horse and continue advancing her riding abilities. Bananas is renowned for his fondness for young riders and takes great pleasure in carrying Pippi around the ring. Furthermore, he has been bestowed the nickname 'The Professor' by a friend/trainer, in recognition of his unique bond with tiny equestrians!

We are very saddened to announce that Sir Duncan crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈. His mom, Laureen, adopted Duncan from Spring Hill Horse Rescue, who rescued him from starvation over thirteen years ago when he was in his teens. Sir Duncan led quite the accomplished life; most importantly, he was his mom's heart horse, but he also starred in a movie, The Green Knight (link in comments). He helped fundraise for Sparrow Hospital, thanks to the graciousness of his mom, and he helped at horse camps, much to the delight of all who attended. It's never easy when they pass; we were fortunate to witness what happened, which gave great comfort to his mom. It was a lovely summer day, and he was enjoying grazing with his pasture buddy, Bandit. He got down to roll along with another horse and never got back up. It was quick and peaceful. His pasture buddy, Bandit, stood guard while we brought the rest of the horses in. He was laid to rest with his friends who went before him, and his mom visited his grave site to say one last goodbye. Guess who greeted her at his grave? Yes, Bandit, and they had that brief moment sharing their grief, which was profound and helped Laureen immensely! God works in mysterious ways, His wisdom to perform. Watch this space! We extend our congratulations to Lilly, a recent 2025 graduate of JGHS from Auburn. Lilly has been an integral part of our riding community for ten years and is the proud owner of her horse, Matt. She is currently exploring part-time employment opportunities for the summer, with the potential to continue through fall while pursuing her studies at Delta College. Lilly brings valuable experience in stable and kennel care, as well as veterinary training from the BAISD Career Center. Her passion lies in working with animals, both indoors and outdoors. A heat advisory will take effect on Saturday and remain in place through Tuesday evening, with heat index values expected to peak at 105. In response, all horses will undergo close monitoring, and turnout will be curtailed as necessary due to the heat. It is crucial that we provide all our four legged friends with access to fresh, clean water.💦

Following Mr. Pierre's recent remark regarding the necessity for additional barn cats, The good Lord heard and provided!
We are delighted to announce the arrival of a stray temperamental cat Sybil, hence the name!😉 Also her kittens at PAL Stables. They will all undergo essential medical care, including spaying/neutering and vaccinations, prior to becoming integral members of our working staff. We extend our appreciation to Kim for her daily care and to Jonna for sharing valuable resources to support the well-being of these animals.
