Those Noses Know! 👃🐾

Did you know your pet’s nose can tell us a lot about their health? Dogs and cats have an incredible sense of smell, and their noses can sometimes give clues about what’s going on inside their bodies, too!

✔️ Wet and cool noses are typically normal.
✔️ A temporarily dry nose can happen after a nap or time spent in the sun.
⚠️ Persistent dryness, cracking, unusual discharge, bleeding, or color changes may be signs that your pet should be evaluated by a veterinarian.

Every pet is unique, and while nose changes don’t always mean something is wrong, it’s always better to be safe when it comes to your furry family members.

If adoption isn’t an option right now, there are still plenty of ways to help:
