HDH appreciation
For Christmas this year we’re feeling appreciative and we want to show that!
This year we want to say we’re so very very thankful for the one that’s holds us all together!
GRACE!
Through any trial or tribulation you always come through! Managing dogs can feel a lot like a farm but Grace definitely herds the crowd and helps the dogs as well as us feel like a hungry cow in a fresh field of grass!
We are so happy you stood up to take on the role as owner and we are excited for the year to come! We know with you we can tackle whatever the storm may bring! We most appreciate how you handle not just the dogs but us with care!
That’s right Grace picks us all up just like the dogs in some of these photos!
Some words from the girls:

If there’s anyone I know that can take care of the dogs with the most passion and the most care it’s Grace. She’s always thinking about how things affect the dogs and how the dogs feel. I don’t believe there is a time where she’s not entirely thinking about the dogs or trying to find different ways to improve what we do or how we do things for the dogs! That inspires me to do even more! Someone that cares that strongly no matter what! I’m most appreciative of having someone like that as a manager/owner because it means that this isn’t just a paycheck to her or a false presentation it is truly the care for her job. She’s always accommodating and understanding. It’s good to have her in my corner and I’m sure the girls also feel the same. I value having Grace as an owner and generally as a human in my life. I’ve been here 3 years and it’s the only job I’ve had that I will stand by is the most transparent and makes it feel like you are valued as a person and employee. Thank you Grace for making the dog house not just a job but a place of passion and care! Thank you for being an amazing leader! You’re the best!

To Grace, our valiant and intrepid leader,
I am proud to hove the privilege of having you as my manager. I will never truly be able to express how much I admire and appreciate you, but here goes a try!
Your skills in dog behavior and handling are exceptional! My professional growth and skills are a direct result of how you model the behavioral tenants we aspire to at the dog house. As a manager you lead by example. You are fair and kind. You continually provide us with tools, resources, encouragement, and opportunities to grow as employees and people. The ways in which you accommodate different working styles fosters a safe and inclusive work environment where eveyone feels valued for what they as individuals bring to the table.
I am honored to call you my friend and I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the team with you as the owner. I greatly look forward to the adventures to come under your expanded leadership role. Finally… feelings are gross right? go step in p**p or something :)

Since working here, you’ve been a very strong minded woman who doesn’t take no nickels (as my grandma says). It means you don’t take no one’s mess. The blood, sweat, tears, and heart that you’ve put in this place to care for our fur babies is an immensely rewarding task. I love that you hustle and grind everyday to keep our clients and fur babies happy and safe! It’s so wonderful to see how all of our clients welcomed me with open arms when I started working here, and they are very generous! You’re always prepared when something happens and I think you work well under pressure. I’m so happy that you’re officially taking over!
