Long time, no post!

Life has been busy for us here at the Manor over the last year or so. Meera earned her FCAT2 and CA titles. We moved, I finished graduate school, and Meera is getting ready to welcome a human baby sister!

We decided to take 2025 off from breeding Meera to allow her to do the things she loves most (we go in full lockdown during heat cycles, pregnancy and as long as puppies are here), and also because her cycles did not line up well for us to devote the time needed to raise amazing Teddy pups. Having a litter is a full time job, and if we can’t devote that time for 3 or so months, we simply won’t breed.

In saying this- we ARE hoping to breed Meera later this year, if the stars align. We have some new followers and have been simply receiving messages across platforms inquiring about puppies, so I wanted to address things! I plan to make some more posts over the coming weeks/months about the changes to Teddy status within AKC (All good news!!), alongside some breed info, etc.

If any of our followers are actively looking for a puppy - PLEASE do not hesitate to contact me! I will gladly point you in the direction of another amazing ethical breeder, who may have what you’re looking for.

Happy 1/2 Birthday to the Meerkat litter! I cannot believe it has been half of a year since they were born 😭 Here are two of the boys, Charlie (was Axel) and Rit (was Pookie)! I seriously couldn’t ask for much more from a first litter. More photos to come of the other pups as I get them! (I forgot what day it was 🤪)

And of course a photo of them when they were brand new!

They will all grow into their ears eventually, those teenage months are tough😂

~Pupdate!!~

Josephine (formerly Daisy) tried out dock diving! Look at this little girl GO! I am seriously insanely impressed by this litter, and this girl is just pushing those expectations higher 😂 That toy drive is nuts, just like her mama, which obviously is helping her. I can’t believe how fearless and spunky this girl is. I love it!

This girl is owned by Wayne Senior, and special shout out to Sarah Brunotte who is training little Miss Jo, and making sure she gets to try out everything she can!

And just like that- all of the puppies have gone to their homes! It is so bittersweet to not hear puppy paws, but I couldn’t be more excited to see and hear about their new lives and all of the things they accomplish! So many are in homes relatively close by, and I am keeping multiple families updated on the FastCAT/CAT events near us.

We do not plan to have another litter soon, as I am giving Meera at least one heat cycle to “rest”, and give myself time to find her “match” again.

This has been such a wonderful (and stressful) process, and I honestly could not be more pleased with Meera’s first litter. These pups are beautiful, with wonderful temperaments and great new owners.

Thank you to everyone for the love, advice, sharing, and following along these last few months!
