Fix your animals....

Fix the strays you feed even though, YES....they aren't yours. They aren't ours either. They are NO ONE'S. And they are EVERYONE'S.

YOU have the power to STEP UP. Don't wait for the County/City. Don't wait for us. Don't look at it as "wasting money on an animal that isn't mine". Think of it as saving money on food & vet bills before that 1 or 2 strays turns into 20, with more babies on the way. Cat/Dog food is EXPENSIVE. Medicine & vet visits are EXPENSIVE if they get sick or hurt (WHICH THEY ABSOLUTELY WILL).

Every rescue and shelter is OUT OF ROOM and low on funds. Do you know what it's like to be responsible for the care and enormous vet bills of 200 cats/kittens at a time? We do. I think you can manage fixing a handful.

You will likely hear "I'm sorry, but..." or "No" if you are expecting to quickly or easily be able to surrender these litters to any rescue or shelter....most of which could have been prevented by fixing as soon as it was clear the animal was sticking around to get fed by you.

DON'T WAIT. DON'T IGNORE IT. DON'T BE THAT GUY OR GAL. BE PROACTIVE. GET TO TRAPPING. GET TO CATCHING. GET TO SPAYING & NEUTERING.

USE THE LOW COST PROGRAMS. That is the single greatest help you can possibly do for rescues like us. Because we don't actually want your money. What we want is for you to fix the animals you see every day so that maybe we are no longer needed to save the homeless, the abandoned, the unplanned, the unwanted, the sick, the injured and the dying anymore.

YOU HAVE THE TOOLS.
PLEASE USE THEM.

Did you know an intact female dog 🤰🐕 and her offspring 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 can breed 67,000 unwanted litters over a 6 year period? 🤯😳😱

We are so excited to partner with Pinhoti Animal Rescue in sponsoring 11 dogs and 3 cats in their Cleburne County Caravan to spay neuter.

We want to thank their volunteers who are transporting in their vehicles this Saturday and Miss Mercedes for coordinating this event. They are at capacity with 33 animals from local families for this event, but please follow them for the next one.

You can donate to either organization and earmark your gift “spay & neuter” to sponsor future community animals.

Prevention is the cure. Do the math.
67,000 x 33 = over 2 MILLION potential unwanted animals
