As many of you know, Petco is moving from Aqueon brand tanks to their own Imagitarium house brand. We’ve picked up several of the most common sizes and will begin offering kits for them immediately.

We are now producing kits with a removable filter foam plate instead of a filter sock holder for those who prefer this method of mechanical filtration. We have made several of these kits as custom builds over the years. Now you can grab one as a standard product. Like our standard sock based kits, these are built upon order so you can customize them with the number of inlets, left or right orientations and with or without a premade pipe kit. The lid also features our unique internal o-ring seals which provides the benefits of a bulkhead without the wasted space needed to accommodate them. We have the 5 chamber 20 gallon long version available now and will be adding many more sizes/options over the next few days.

We were fortunate to have minimal affects from the storm and our thoughts go out to our friends to the east who were not as fortunate. Wishing everyone a speedy recovery.

We have temporarily halted sales on our e-bay store in anticipation of Helene making landfall in our area Thursday evening. The storm is currently projected to pass slightly east of our shop as a hurricane. Since we build all kits upon order we'll have to close down in anticipation of power outages which could affect us over the next couple days. Once the storm passes we will get back up and running just as soon as we can. For all of our neighbors facing this situation please stay safe.

Here's another awesome custom build. This one makes great use of the extra real estate in a Marineland 125 gallon tank. Inlet water is fed in from both ends with the return chamber in the middle of the tank. One side is the refugium chamber, the other side is for equipment. Both sides feature dual 7" filter socks, a full width blind interlocking sock baffle for easy assembly and they have independent water level adjustment.

Here's a nice example of a custom build. The customer had a non-standard glass display tank which he repurposed as a sump. Based off his measurements we made a custom intake baffle, adjustable weir/depth baffle, a bubble trap with media supports, and custom inlet and return section lids. Some unique features to this build include the use of 1/2" acrylic for some of the baffles to minimize bowing (it's a 23" wide tank), blind drilled and tapped holes for the media support plate, recessed bulkhead holes in the lid so they sit flush, lid reinforcements to minimize bowing and a custom mounting setup for a Neptune Systems liquid level sensor. Finally, the bubble trap section has a custom lid system to prevent salt creep as the water passes through it.

We're starting to produce our new ultimate kits for converting Aqueon glass aquariums into sumps and refugiums. These kits utilize a new integrated sealing system into the lid assembly which seals the inlet pipes without the need for huge bulkheads. This allows us to keep salt creep to a minimum while maintaining a small footprint for the inlet section of the tank. While these will work with any standard 1" PVC pipe, we are including special cut down pipes and 1" slip/slip couplers so everything you need except the tank, silicone and filter socks you'll need to get this up and running is in the box.

Available now in 4 chamber or 5 chamber configurations for 20 gallon long tanks. Other sizes coming soon or up request.

Tank dividers are now available. Made from 1/4" cast acrylic our dividers are available in three styles:
1.) Silicone in - these dividers are installed using aquarium safe silicone (not included). This installation method provides a semi-permanent fixed position divider which your tank inhabitants can't move. It also provides sealed edges so even the tiniest critters can get past it.
2.) Suction Cup install - these dividers include four dual suction cup brackets which allow the the divider to be quickly and securely installed in your tank. They also allow the baffle to be easily removed or moved whenever you want to change up your tank layout.
3.) No Suction Cups - the dividers have a slot in the top which accepts the lip of the tank rim. Once installed, the tank rim lip supports the divider and allows it to be moved or removed as you see fit.

All dividers are available in black or clear acrylic with or without diffusion holes.
