HORSEMANSHIP GROUP LESSONS

Dec 26th, 29th, 30th

Join the staff of the Eagle Rock Equestrian Center for a horsemanship refresher course or a completely new equine experience. We will be conducting group lessons which inclue ground work, riding lessons and trail rides. It will be a fun and educational experience.

All classes will be held in the indoor, lighted arena. Dress in layers because it will be chilly in the beginning but you may get toasty as you move around.

Ages 7 to 14- 10:00am – 11:15am

Ages 15 to Adult- 11:30am – 12:45pm

Cost is $45 per lesson or $120 if all 3 are booked.

Ok, I know that horse lovers are also generous people. There is a family in Freeland who lost everything due to a fire on the other side of their half double complex. I'm helping to collect some items for their 5 year old daughter for Christmas. If anyone can help, please do!
You can bring items to the Eagle Rock Resort Administration building, and they will be picked up no later than next Tuesday, December 23rd.

Here are the items: any small gift that a typical 5 year old would like, especially anything princess related, Frozen, and Monster High. She wears a size 5t to 6t clothes and a size 11 or 12 kids shoe.
NEW ITEMS ONLY PLEASE!You can also donate gift certificates to places like Wal-Mart or any grocery store. The family says "they are thankful to live in such a generous community."

This Saturday is last of the pre-Christmas camps. The first 2 have been awesome. The kids had a great time and several of them have been to both camps and plan to return for the 3rd one. Space is limited and time is running out. Call 570-436-6249 today to reserve a place for your child. The cost is just $40 for the camp andruns from 12:00 - 4:00. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Although the Equestrian Center is NOT open today, we will be open by appointment all winter. A trail ride in the snow is one of the most serene experiences!! come join us!

Please come see us this weekend for the Fall Fest activities at the lower lodge. We will be providing pony and horse rides from 11 - 5 Saturday and Sunday... No matter what the age, if you've always wanted to ride a horse and be in a safe environment, now's your chance.
