Martial Arts Academy. Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai Classes For Kids and Adults. Because I focus on self defense, some striking is blended in.

Jiu Jitsu is a martial art mainly focused on grappling to control, pin, and submit your opponent in the safest and most efficient manner possible. It uses leverage, timing, and technique to allow individuals to defend themselves from larger, stronger, and faster people. I am also a World Thai Boxing Association certified instructor in Muay Thai.

I’ve wore my Gi in public on quite a few occasions. I’ve even worn one as a costume.

What kind of looks do you get?

Playing and Learning at the same time. We play “Sensei Says” to learn striking techniques. Kids get opportunities to win picking a game or a piece of candy. Amazing how much they learn and how fast.

Near the end of the video I kick baby girl and she turns around swinging at me. 💝

14 years ago was when Jiu Jitsu changed my life completely. It became a superpower. Now I want to share that with everyone else.

14 years ago! This was when I won a small tournament’s absolute division as a blue belt. I beat people that were bigger, stronger, and had been training longer than me. This was when it all clicked and Jiu Jitsu became a superpower.

For those that want to build confidence and change your lives you have to try it out.

The biggest thing I have learned in the last year is apply weight and using angles. It’s not always about a certain technique.
