Backyard breeders and ethical breeders are different. What makes a breeder ethical is the goal of their program. Backyard breeders produce as many puppies as possible for the sake of making money. Their dogs never see the inside of a home, or experience the affection of a family. Their dogs are bred back to back with no consideration of their health. Their dogs aren't healthy tested and their puppies don't come with health guarantees. Ask a breeder questions about their goals for their program. Ask to meet the pack and see how the puppies are raised. No ethical breeder would deny a request to visit their home to meet the pack and see where puppies are whelped and cared for. ❤️
