Unsure if these come out - two major things to note: He is about to brumate and we are in the process of ordering his 8ft by 4ft by 4ft hence why he is so huge for this 4ft x 2 ft x 2ft - he got this big in only eight months! Two, we want you to understand what owning one of these cuties is actually like, flaws and all. Bumi and I actually have a solid relationship but every so often if I take even TWO days off with interacting with him, he's going to back slide the training we have done.
Be prepared to have a lizard with the bite force damn near an alligator. Be prepared like I did the other day to take an experimental bite. Learn their body language, and most importantly don't put them in situations that will stress them out. You will see me in here forcing pets on him - I do this so he UNDERSTANDS that if he comes out of his enclosure, mfer you getting cuddled. You see him hating that but he also in each scenario chose to go back inside his enclosure over cuddles. I didn't force the situation.
Like with any big lizard, it's a learning curve. Bumi bites harder than me, so I have to be twice as patient. But I wouldn't trade this idiot for the world.
