Today is going to be a hot one folks! β˜€πŸ˜Ž Here are a few tips to keep your dog safe as we maneuver rising temperatures.

1. Never leave your dog in the car. No, not even if you think you’ll only be a few minutes. Even when it isn’t that hot outside, the temp can soar inside a closed car.

2. Keep your dog inside in the A/C with a fan on to ensure that they can truly chill. If you have to leave them outside, make sure they have plenty of water and shade.

3. Take walks in the morning or evening, when the temperatures are cooler. However, before you head out, be sure to check the pavement; If it's too hot for your hand, its too hot for their paws.

4. Groom your pup regularly. A thick coat or matting can trap heat.

5. Invest in some cooling gear that can help keep your dog cool this summer. Check out this link for more ideas!
