MEET WISH

Wish is a young male mix breed. We believe he is around 1-2 years old and is already neutered!
His breed mix is up in the air… but we’re thinking an English Pointer mixed with a few other things.

This very active boy came to us as a stray from Animal Control and was never claimed..

We do know that Wish is not happy being cooped up in our smaller kennels. He would be much happier in a home with another active dog to play with. He’s got super long legs that need room to move!

He does appear to have some training and is very treat motivated!

Wish’s wish is to find a home! Come meet this super friendly boy today!

Here’s a fun little guessing challenge for you all!

We have got an Embark DNA test for Hugo!
It’ll take a few weeks to get the results so drop your guesses in the comments!

Taryn is gunna try and get some Calendars made again to raise some money for spays and neuters. If someone guesses the breeds right on on the money, they’ll get a free calendar!! Here is some pictures to help you!

Meet Jacie!

This 2 year old girl is a Smooth Collie x Greyhound mix! She is not spayed yet.

Poor Jacie was found abandoned in a rental property all alone.. The landlords took her in until we had room for her.

Jacie is a super fun gal looking for a super fun family to join! She is great with other dogs, cats, children and adults!

Jacie does appear to have some training with sit, down, and shake. She does get overly excited to show you her tricks that she may do all three at the command of just one.

She is big girl living in a big world! Adorable and super social, Jacie will do great wherever she lands!d

Your chance at an amazing dog that is!

Chancy is a lively young girl that is already spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped!

Chancy is the perfect size of dog for someone who is wanting a smaller medium size dog. She weighs between 30-40 pounds and is super duper friendly!

Chancy gets along with most other dogs and has lived with a cat before! We have not seen how she does around children, but we suspect she will do great with them!

She’s always happy and she is ready to snuggle up on a couch with her new forever family!

Next up on our AMAZING person shoutout is the lovely and lively Collyns!

Collyns is a freshman at Hays High School this year and a member of the FCCLA. She had the task of organizing and executing an event. This great soul chose to do a donation drive for HSHP!

She came out to personally meet us and ask us what we needed the most and got to know the animals. She took our list and the energy of the dogs and got to WORK!

With the help of dedicated little minds of Roosevelt Elementary, we received a massive amount of goodies! I was going through bags and it was like there was no bottom! She also raised a good amount cash donations ontop of this!

Collyns, we want to thank you so much for not only thinking of us, but going above and beyond to organize this for us. We even had an argument over who had the task of recording all these donations! 😂😂 That’s how much you donated and trust me that’s a good argument to have!

To the kids and parents at Roosevelt, we want to also thank you for taking the time out of your homework and cooking dinner to support the animals at HSHP!
