Hi everyone one! I want to address some things that have come up over the past few weeks.

1. We have to wash your blankets if you want waterproof. Submitting blankets with a filled out "blanket washing" form automatically means it will be washed, and then any additional services that you have requested will be done.
2. When your blankets are done, we neatly fold them and bale them with twine, and then a name tag is attached.
3. If you drop off several people's blankets, you have to let us know. If you don't say something or put it on the forms, then they are all considered separate customers. We do not know who your boarders/friends are.

Our Story

We are now branching out to offer holistic and natural horse boarding.

At Wildfire Equine Services, we value the health and happiness of our horses. All of our boarding and care is focused on providing our horses with the most natural environment we can give them. We provide full care field board, ensuring that every horse is well looked after each and every day. All horses have 24-hour access to a run-in shed with fans in the summer to keep them comfortable in the heat. We have large sand/stone dust arena on premise with lights for riding after dark. Our arena is equipped with jump standards, poles, and barrels for your use. Board also includes blanketing, fly masks, fly spray, a 12x12 rubber matted stall for feeding and extreme weather, tack room, feed room and a h/c wash stall.

All of our fields have 3 board fencing and horse safe wire that is maintained regularly for the safety of our horses. Our farm is less then 5 miles from many trail heads including Manassas battlefield, James Long park, Conway Robinson, and Silver Lake.

We pride ourselves on our calm, quiet and relaxing adult only atmosphere! As an adult only run operation, we have a strict no-drama policy. Our goal is for Wildfire Equine Services to be a safe, happy, and relaxing place to spend time with our amazing horses.

All horses are fed one time per day, as needed. We have several options of feed including non-antibiotic locally made feeds and a non-gmo option. Diatomaceous Earth, Raw Apple Cider Vinegar and Chia seeds are also available at additional charge. We supplement with round bales in the fields during months of the year where grass growth is slow. We also offer f***l based testing for our worming program.

We utilize many holistic and natural heal practices including Reiki, acupuncture, animal communication, and energy healing and have many natural healers that work with us regularly to keep our animals happy and healthy. They are always happy to take on new clients.

Wildfire Equine Services Sanctuary

We have been a rescue for the past 5 years and I have saved a total of 12 horses. 3 are out on contract and will always have a home here with me, 4 had to be put down for major medical issues and the remaining 5 are permanent residents (not adoptable) at our farm in Haymarket.

As you may know we are not 501c3 and support the horses on the money I earn from boarding, working my accounting job, and small amount of money earned from used tack sales and from discounts. Due to this reason we will not be taking in anymore rescues at this time. I do not want to over extended myself with taking care of the 5 here and with the thought that the 3 on contract can always come back to my care.

With that said if a horse is in need, feel free to reach out and we will do the best we can to get it in the right hands and get it safe.

We are not closing our doors, just revamping so all animals currently with us get the best care.
