Congratulations on the 250th Anniversary, Williamsburg!
To all LDL clients please be advised that this weekend's celebrations may cause traffic delays coming to and from the Lodge. Especially on Sunday morning when route 9 will be shut down for the parade at 9:15 am. The parade route goes right past the Lodge and is estimated to last 2 hours however, they state that "as the parade passes, the road behind will be opened to local traffic."

This article maybe a bit misleading due to a lack of understanding of the pet care industry. Granted grooming shops are not open so your dog is likely not getting a salon quality cut anywhere. However veterinarians and boarding/daycare facilities are “Organizations and workers responsible for the care and custody of animals, pets and livestock” and “Animal agriculture workers to include those employed in veterinary health (including those involved in supporting emergency veterinary or livestock services)”, most are open and many have grooming capabilities in some capacity. Most are able to accommodate baths to treat skin issues, fleas & ticks, deskunking, dematting, nail trimming, ear cleaning and a**l gland expression services to help keep your pet healthy.

COVID-19 Response:
Per the Governor’s order, Lil Dog Lodge is considered an essential business.
We will remain open and offer all of our regular services during this crisis.

Having worked as veterinary technicians the health and safety of our clients and their fur kids has always been our number one priority. We have always used and continue to use a hospital grade disinfectant, fungicide, and virucide cleaner. It is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungus, mildew and viruses, including Human Coronavirus.

We will continue operating during our normal business hours. We know and
appreciate that many of you are working long hours and dealing with unpredictable schedule changes. Please contact us should you need to drop-off or pick-up during nonnormal business hours. We will do our absolute best to accommodate your needs during this crisis.

We have added these additional protocols to help keep L.D.L. a low risk environment:
• Until further notice, non staff members will not be allowed past the reception
area; unfortunately, this includes tours of the facility and use of the restroom.
• To help maintain a safe social distance, we ask that only one person, unless
from the same household, enter the reception area at a time.
•A human social distancing partition has been installed in the reception area.
•Staff members will be wearing masks when interacting with humans.
•Surfaces will be
disinfected between clients.
• Open air transactions are available. Please call 413-268-0000, text
413-233-6894, or ring the bell when you get here, and one of our staff members
will come outside to assist you.
• In order to limit contact between households, we will be asking you to take your dog’s collar,
leash, et cetera with you at drop off, and bring it back for pick up.
• In regards to payments, while our hand-held device is disinfected between
transactions and can be brought outside, we do have alternative payment
options available. We also offer card on file payments, payments over the
phone, online payments through our website, e-mail invoices, and PayPal, G Pay, and Apple Pay transactions.
