🐾❤️ At The Cheeto Pet Pantry, our mission goes beyond helping families keep their pets fed and at home. While our biggest goal is preventing pets from ever having to enter a shelter, we also know that shelters and rescues work tirelessly every single day to care for the animals already in their care.
Today, we're delivering this pet food to a local cat shelter because every full bowl makes a difference. 🐱🥣

If you're a shelter or rescue organization and could use a little extra support, please don't hesitate to reach out. While we may not always be able to fulfill every request, we will do our best to help whenever we can.

Keeping pets in loving homes will always be our number one priority, but we also want to support the incredible people who dedicate their lives to caring for animals waiting for a second chance.

🐾 Our newest donation drive has officially started! 🐾

I'm so excited to announce that our donation drive is now underway at A to Z Creations and Resale LLC!

🐾 The Cheeto Pet Pantry has been restocked! 🐾

I stopped by to refill the pantry again today! 💙 I typically check and restock it every other day, but I don't always make a post each time. If you ever need pet food or supplies, be sure to keep an eye on the pantry because it's stocked regularly.

I do have one small request for our amazing community. Please only take one bag of food per visit if you're able. My hope is that by everyone taking only what they need, we can help as many families and pets as possible.

Since the pantry is open 24/7, I'm not there to monitor it, so I'm trusting our community to use it honestly and thoughtfully. If you have enough, please leave some for the next family who may be struggling. A little kindness goes a long way. ❤️

Craven County residents, for just $20, you can help give your pit bull a healthier future while helping reduce unwanted litters in our community.

This special collaborative event is made possible through Verdigris Pet Hospital, NJ Aid for Animals, Because of Bubbles Rescue, and Havelock Animals Association.

For your $20 non-refundable fee, your dog will receive:
✔️ Spay or neuter surgery
✔️ Rabies vaccination
✔️ Microchip
✔️ 3-month flea treatment

📌 Pre-registration is required.

The Cheeto Pet Pantry doesn't just help provide free pet food for household pets—we're here for farm animals too!
Over the holiday weekend, we had the opportunity to help a local family with food for their chickens. The cutest chickens we got to see is on the flyer! Farm animals are more than livestock—they're often a source of food, income, and a way of life for many families. We know how quickly feed costs can add up, and sometimes a little help can make all the difference.
Our mission has always been simple: No bowl should go empty. Whether it's a dog, cat, chicken, goat, or another farm animal, we're here to help families keep the animals they love and depend on.
If you're struggling to feed your farm animals, please don't hesitate to reach out. And if you'd like to help us continue supporting pets and farm animals throughout our community, donations of feed or monetary support are always appreciated.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from all of us at The Cheeto Rescue! ❤️🤍💙

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday with your families, friends, and furry companions.
Just a reminder that there will not be a Cheeto Pet Pantry today due to the holiday and because I've been spending time with my family following the passing of my father. Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness during this difficult time. Your support has meant more than you know.

If you are in need of pet food, Pamlico Community Library will be hosting a Free Pet Pantry on Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. We encourage anyone who needs assistance to stop by.

Our 24/7 Cheeto Pet Pantry box is also available, and I've been doing my best to restock it almost every day to make sure food is available for those who need it.

We will be back to our regular monthly pantry schedule soon, and I can't wait to continue serving our amazing community.

🚨 EXTREME HEAT WARNING FOR CRAVEN COUNTY 🚨

Dangerous temperatures are expected throughout this week. If your pets are outside, now is the time to make sure they have everything they need to stay safe. Heat-related illness can happen quickly and can be fatal.

If your pet is kept outdoors, they must have: 🐾 Fresh, clean water available at all times. 🐾 Adequate shade throughout the day—not just for part of the day. 🐾 Proper shelter that provides protection from the heat while allowing airflow. 🐾 A clean, safe environment free from hazards.

Craven County ordinances and state animal welfare laws require that animals be provided with proper food, water, shelter, and humane care. Failure to provide these basic necessities during extreme heat can result in enforcement action.

Please remember: 🚫 Do not leave pets in parked vehicles—not even for a few minutes. 🐾 Walk dogs during the early morning or late evening hours. 🔥 If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it is too hot for your pet's paws.

If you see an animal in distress due to the heat, don't ignore it. Report it to the appropriate authorities. A simple phone call could save a life.

Need assistance? We understand that times can be tough. We have summer pet supplies available for members of the public who need them, including water bowls, cooling items, and other essentials while supplies last. If you need help keeping your pet safe during this heat, please reach out.

Hi everyone! Just an update, we will not be having our pantry in July. Due to it landing on a holiday and some conflicting events. We will be back to regular schedule come August! We will be keeping the 24/7 box stocked! If you notice it’s ever empty pls let me know! I go and refill every couple of days or I have someone go on my behalf. Thank you all for being so patient and I apologize for not having one in July.
