Hello everyone. This is my page. I share it with all of you, but no one else owns it, and I need a minute of your time.
After being paralyzed in a no-fault rear-end collision returning from a pet-friendly venue in February 2019, followed by my subsequent recovery, which is still continuing today, I've allowed this page to basically govern itself.
However, I am bound to share with those of you who, like me, depend on God and common sense for direction on a daily basis.
Breaking down and examining the projected results for dog/handler this ad offers...
(printed below their challenge.)
As listed:
Week (1) A weak, “may, be”…
Week (2) 2nd weak of “may, be”…
Week (3) No mention of it.
“May, be” a weak Catch-up thing”
Week (4) this “may, be” the “weakest week of them all”.
This is where we find the author seems to be hinting towards; “should you see a positive by “weak five” (giving 7 days for weak 4 to manifest its best), a faceless promoter is responsible for you and your dog’s success.
If however you a positive result doesn’t materialize…
Well, that’s your fault and it’s your responsibility to correct it because no one promised positive results, but rather only, the possibility of obtaining them.
I find this ad and its sister ads (they exist) to be deceptive at best.
Do not buy into false narratives; read everything carefully and, above all, exercise caution in all things.
A short but important list to consider:
Crate your dogs (all pets) for transport—
(doing so saved the life of the dog who was with me the day my pickup and my body were destroyed)
Never go through a door marked “best left closed”—
(signs are everywhere here)
Do your “own” homework (pulling from every resource available to you, including friends) before you commit.
As you and your dog go through the program you’ve chosen, double-check the information provided to you for accuracy and the “why” behind the training suggestion.
Don’t be fooled by an ad like this one and come back here complaining about it, even to warn others of the deceptiveness.
This notice serves as such.
Many trainers charge hundreds of dollars for no improvement! Get a result in a reasonable time frame, without having to spend hours training every day.
