🌟 Case Spotlight: Christopher 🌟

Christopher came to see Dr. Terrebonne back in October 2024 after his family noticed he was losing weight and drinking/urinating much more than usual. At just 4.8 lbs, he was diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)—a serious and life-threatening complication of diabetes.

Getting his diabetes under control was no easy process, but with the dedication of his amazing owners and the determination of Dr. Terrebonne, Christopher pulled through. 💙

Today, Christopher is thriving at a healthy 6.8 lbs and living his best life! He’s also become a staff favorite—we all love seeing him walk through our doors. 🐾💉

🌟 Patient Spotlight: Yuki 🌟

Meet Yuki, a young guinea hen who came to us after a raccoon attack. 💔 Her wing was badly injured, and radiographs showed multiple fractures.

After reviewing her options, Dr. Ebers performed a wing amputation yesterday to give Yuki the best chance at a healthy, happy life. 🐓✨

We’re happy to share that she’s already showing her resilient spirit on the road to recovery. Way to go, Yuki! 💕

What a beautiful day 💛 We had the privilege of joining Hub City Humane Society at PetSmart for their adoption event, and our hearts are so full. The kids had the best time spoiling the pups with pup cups and we shared lemonade with some sweet shoppers, but the real magic came when we got to witness two sweet dogs meet their forever families. 🐾 Watching the happy tears as they went home was nothing short of priceless.

📸 Meet Peggy—the little cutie pictured here with our staff. Her brother found his home today, but Peggy is still waiting for hers. She’s got so much love to give and deserves her very own family to cry happy tears over her, too.
Please help us spread the word and find Peggy the home she’s dreaming of. 🏡💕

Word of caution ⚠️ — while we love watching our pets enjoy their toys, remember that all pet toys carry a risk of becoming obstructive or otherwise dangerous. Always supervise play and toss out broken or frayed toys before they can cause harm.💡 When in doubt, check the VOHC’s website for a list of approved toy brands that are safe for chewing and play!We did miss Dr. Ebers this time, but don’t worry — we’ll catch up with her in a future reel! 🐾
