We are heartbroken to share that we lost our sweet Rosali today.

Rosali came to us in July 2024, surrendered from a puppy mill after she was deemed no longer useful for breeding. At 9 years old, she became a long-term resident at our kennel. Despite being incredibly sweet, social, and playful, she was often overlooked, her age and breed making her one of the “less desirable” ones.

But Rosali was never unwanted. Our wonderful groomer, Joe, saw her light and took her home to foster. In his care, she thrived. She played, she cuddled, she loved and she was deeply loved in return.

Last night, Rosali began to struggle. Today, testing revealed a mass on her liver and severe abnormalities in her bloodwork. Surrounded by love, she peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Though she never found an adopter, Rosali found a home with us, and with Joe. Her life mattered. She was cherished.

Please keep Joe in your thoughts. His heart is heavy, and so is ours.
