A wagging tail, a happy bark,
A furry friend to chase away the dark.
You came into my life, a gift so true,
A loyal heart, forever me and you.
With wet nose nudges and a loving gaze,
You filled my days with sunshine and amaze.
No matter what, you're always by my side,
My furry friend, my love, my canine pride.
Through thick and thin, you've always been there,
A wagging tail to chase away despair.
For all the joy, the love you've shown to me,
I'll always cherish you, eternally.
So thank you, friend, for all you've given me,
My furry family, my canine decree.
For the canine who started it all, I say,
