Haskell Vet Clinic is a mixed animal practice in rural Texas that provides a large variety of services for dogs, cats, horses, cattle, swine, & a few animals in between.

A confirmed rabies positive skunk was recently found in Knox City. We strongly encourage all dogs, cats, and horses to have yearly rabies vaccinations, due to a high prevalence of rabies infections in wildlife in our area.

The clinic will host a vaccination clinic at the Benjamin City Hall on May 2, from 8AM-10AM.

Thank you to the ag teachers, extension agents, and Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens and biologist for their help putting this on! Also to the Stanfield Hunting Outfitters for hosting today’s event.

The beauty of mixed-animal practice is its diversity! This bull gemsbok sustained a soft tissue injury after a fight with another bull. The offending horn was removed, the wound explored and cleaned, medications given, and he was good as new! Thank you, Big Country Exotics, for asking us to come out!
