Hi… I am posting this for a Co-Worker. If you know anyone please share. He is a great dog. She saved him when he came upon her that one night. He has come a long way since that day. She can’t keep him. She nursed him back to health and he needs to find his forever home.

🐶 Meet Romeo – Golden Retriever/Lab Mix

Romeo is a 1.5-year-old unaltered male, weighing 38 lbs per last vet visit (he originally weighed 23lbs when he came to me as a stray and has gained 15 lbs in 2 months!).
He’s fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and absolutely thriving. I have documents to share as well.

💛 About Romeo:
•Loves people and other dogs
•Too playful for cats or smaller children
•Enjoys toys, fetch, belly rubs, walks, car rides, and being by your side
•Knows sit, paw, and understands “no”
•Sweet, fearless, and loving especially after all he has been through

Romeo would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a dog playmate. I’d love to stay in touch —he’s come so far and truly deserves the best home.

It has been a while since bad news has reached our Maddy's family. Buddy, the schnauzer, has passed away. He was 16. Cause of death, cancer. Buddy was a character. He always had a story to tell. You could tell he was, seriously, trying to make a point. He really liked it when you would hold up your side of the conversation. At some point, he would just stop talking and you knew he was satisfied. At the end of his daycare day, he would be up on our counter , mom ready to go, but he had to let us know how his day went. Talk and snacks on the way out. Buddy's mom, Paula, was one of those great parents. You could see it in each of their faces, the love flowing back and forth. They were each other's gift from God. Prayers for healing. RIP, Budman. We are sure he is telling those same stories in Heaven. Video courtesy of Buddy's mom. Buddy at his best.

Just want to acknowledge the passing of our boy, Wallace, 7 years ago today.
God knows, we miss your face, your antics, your beautiful personality, your love.
We know you and your sissy, Madison, are hanging out in Heaven, together, awaiting our reunion. We miss you everyday. Looking forward to seeing you again too.

Well, we made it home from the hospital. Thanks the HVSE for getting her home-ready. Long, hard road still to go to get back from esophagitis. We are not sure if she will ever fully recover. Amazing how you go in for what was to be a simple surgery and come out with "complications" that are worse than the surgery. Thanks, everyone, for the kind thoughts and prayers.

Pray for our girl....
18 days ago Sidney had knee surgery but came home with inflammation of the esophagus. 18 days she has been struggling off and on with symptoms. She will be spending a few days in the hospital to get all her fluids and medicine thru her Iv. Possibly a feeding tube. Although our hearts are broken we have to believe this is what she needs. ❤️‍🩹💔😭😭😭😭 Momma & Poppa love you, baby girl 😘

Sad note but with a happy twist....Another Maddy's child has passed on. Duke was always happy wherever he was. Since we closed up business over two years ago, we have mostly lost contact with our regular puppies. About a month ago, while out checking yard sales , we visited this wonderful family's yard sale, and, actually got to see Duke. It was a great surprise for us. His family told us they thought he was pretty close to the end of life from just old age.
Duke and his late sister, Callie, began coming to us in 2015. Duke was very comfortable at Maddy's. We looked forward to seeing his humans, too. RIP, Big Boy. Prayers to the family and to Duke's sis, Crazy Daisy.

Hope everyone had a fine father's day. We miss our fathers in Heaven.

Some SAD news to report.
One of our Wallace's favorite buddies and a Maddy's old timer, Tex, died Sunday just short of his 16th birthday. We used to refer to him as "Humper" for obvious reasons. He and Wallace loved to play together. We know that Wallace was happy to see him again. Prayers to his family. RIP, little man.
