While the page goes on, for now, word came to us this morning that a Maddy's legend was to cross the Rainbow Bridge today. Her mom wanted us to know that "Ellie has gone to be with Jesus". One half of the brother-sister duo, Jed and Ellie Mae Henry, Ellie was just 11. Cause of her passing was a ruptured spleen. Doctors tried to help her overcome the issue but it was not to be. Ellie was an amazing soul who knew how to have a good time. She will be sorely missed. Prayers to brother, Jed, Mom and Dad, human sister, Ada Jane.

Just a note...at some point in the near future, we will be deleting this page. It has been over 4 years since our closure, there are, obviously, very few following the page anymore. It was our pleasure to maintain it to keep in contact with our old clients and their wonderful pets. Please feel free to reminisce by searching for old pictures and stories before we eliminate the page.

Sad news from one of our favorite human customers. They just let us know they had to say goodbye to one of Maddy's best athletes, Shug. Cause of his passing was, ultimately, cancer. He was still middle age at 10 years old.

Sucky day at our house. Shug's cancer was progressing and he took a noticeable downward turn over the last 24 hours. We decided to let him go peacefully. There is a huge hole in our hearts, but I know we did what is best for him.

Sucky day for sure. Sorry to hear this news. He was still a youngster at 10. I'm sure David is hurting but knows sometimes you have to say goodbye. Hope you let Tiger know too. I can still hear that slobbery, squishy, popping, spitting, bubbly, dirty, tennis ball noise he would make when he brought it back for the next throw. He was one of a kind. He is one of the ones we missed after closing down the business. RIP, Shugman. Run free. Thanks for letting us know.

We just want to acknowledge the 6th anniversary of the passing of Maddy's namesake, our girl Madison. She was our inspiration for starting the business and she worked as hard as anyone to make it successful. We sure do miss her. RIP, "Little Girl". Mommy and Daddy love you.

It is with the utmost sadness and shock that we have to let everyone know we had to let our precious Sidney cross over the Rainbow Bridge at 2:48 pm, today. Just 3 years old, an ultrasound being done seeking answers to another serious issue, discovered kidney cancer and renal failure. Treatments to fight the extreme dehydration were not working so doctors went looking for other things. We think the final straw may have been brought on by medicine complications while trying to give her relief from a serious trachea and esophagus issue Friday evening. She was as sweet and funny as any dog we ever had. You stole our hearts from the minute we first saw you. So unfair. Life is too short for these beautiful creatures already. RIP, BEAUTIFUL SIDNEY. MOM AND DAD AND DELLA LOVE YOU... MISS YOU ALREADY...

It has been a while since bad news has reached our Maddy's family. Buddy, the schnauzer, has passed away. He was 16. Cause of death, cancer. Buddy was a character. He always had a story to tell. You could tell he was, seriously, trying to make a point. He really liked it when you would hold up your side of the conversation. At some point, he would just stop talking and you knew he was satisfied. At the end of his daycare day, he would be up on our counter , mom ready to go, but he had to let us know how his day went. Talk and snacks on the way out. Buddy's mom, Paula, was one of those great parents. You could see it in each of their faces, the love flowing back and forth. They were each other's gift from God. Just want to acknowledge the passing of our boy, Wallace, 7 years ago today.
God knows, we miss your face, your antics, your beautiful personality, your love.
We know you and your sissy, Madison, are hanging out in Heaven, together, awaiting our reunion. We miss you everyday. Looking forward to seeing you again too.

Well, we made it home from the hospital. Thanks the HVSE for getting her home-ready. Long, hard road still to go to get back from esophagitis. We are not sure if she will ever fully recover. Amazing how you go in for what was to be a simple surgery and come out with "complications" that are worse than the surgery. Thanks, everyone, for the kind thoughts and prayers.

Pray for our girl....
18 days ago Sidney had knee surgery but came home with inflammation of the esophagus. 18 days she has been struggling off and on with symptoms. She will be spending a few days in the hospital to get all her fluids and medicine thru her Iv. Possibly a feeding tube. Although our hearts are broken we have to believe this is what she needs. ❤️‍🩹💔😭😭😭😭 Momma & Poppa love you, baby girl 😘
