Roberta Woronowicz
Assistant Trainer | Eventing, Jumping, and Horsemanship

Roberta Woronowicz is River Rock Stables’ three-day event rider and instructor with over 25 years of equestrian experience. A USDF Bronze Medalist who regularly competes at the national and international levels (Preliminary / CCI2*), Roberta is a lifelong student of the sport. She continues to refine her own craft by training with world-class coaches, including Jim Graham, and maintains a strong foundation as an HB-rated member of the United States Pony Club.

Roberta’s training philosophy is built on the pillars of consistency and communication. Her diverse competitive background—ranging from polocrosse and reining to classical dressage—has instilled a deep appreciation for the versatile horse and rider. Her program specifically caters to adult amateurs and young riders, focusing on the vital intersection of technical precision and the intuitive connection between horse and rider.

Beyond the stable, Roberta brings a unique perspective to her coaching as an Active-Duty Army Officer and UH-60 Black Hawk pilot. This "pilot’s eye" for detail translates directly to the saddle; whether navigating a technical cross-country course or a demanding dressage test, she understands that success is the result of disciplined preparation and rigorous training.

🐴 Science night at River Rock Stables! 🐴

Last month we had an incredible look at equine anatomy during our leg dissection clinic. It’s so important to understand whats going on inside our horses’ bodies.

Huge thank you to our vet Dr Dunlap from Tennessee Equine and our farrier Laura Gillispie for sharing their expertise during the event, and to Roberta for putting this event together!

So happy to announce Once Upon a Time has sold before I could even advertise him, and will be staying in my program to develop further🥰 Thank you Jamie for the opportunity to continue to work with this fabulous guy, and to his breeder Valerie Swygert for producing such a cool dude😎

Once Upon a Time is a coming 7 year old KWPN gelding by Lord Ferragamo out of a Gribaldi mare. He is the full brother to Palmetto who is also for sale in my program. Congratulations to all! 🤩

This past weekend River Rock Stables was proud to host a clinic with Hilda Donahue. With over 13 riders participating, it was a busy and fun-filled day of dressage and jumping!
