Horse & Hounds Farm - North We are a small family farm that raises happy chickens that taste delicious. We also foster coonhounds for the American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue.

It looks like we will be sold out of turkeys this year as we only raised a few, but we do have a limited amount of chickens available. I haven’t weighed them but would say they are in the 3-5 pound range and they are $3 per pound.

Do you feel that???? That chill in the air? I have to say that this time of year always has me dreaming of soups and comfort food. Chicken noodle soup... chicken and dumplings.... when the first chill comes, I start making chicken broth. It goes into every dinner (the dogs love this time of year too because I start adding it to their food as well).

Good broth starts with good chicken and we have a few of our delicious farm raised whole chickens available. Stock up now because once we are sold out, we will be sold out until late spring.

$3 per pound and local delivery in available.

We still have a few farm fresh whole frozen chickens available if anyone is interested.
They are all around 7 pounds each and are $3.00 per pound.

We will have a VERY limited amount of chickens at the beginning of November and then we will not have chickens until April or May of next year.

I am so excited to announce that our farm fresh chickens will be available this Thursday, June 4th. We will have a limited quantity and our next chickens will not be available until August. At this time, we are still able to offer them at last year’s price of $3.00 per pound with free local delivery.
