Walt’s World is dedicated to supporting our community by reducing animal suffering, keeping beloved pets out of shelters, educating on responsible pet ownership, and providing low-cost spay and neuter assistance throughout Hart, Franklin, Stephens, Elbert, Madison, Banks County, and beyond. ❤️
Since April alone, we have incurred more than $3,500 in owner-assistance expenses to help families facing emergency veterinary care, euthanasia assistance, and free spay/neuter services for community members who simply could not afford them.
Because of the overwhelming need and lack of funding support, we have now had to begin turning away additional owner-assistance requests and pause free spay/neuter assistance — something that absolutely breaks our hearts when we know how desperately these services are needed in our community.
Right now, we are carrying an outstanding veterinary balance of $1,770, and tomorrow we are facing an additional $600 emergency surgery for a dog in need.
Today, we are asking for your help so we can continue helping the animals and families who need us most. Every donation, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference. If you can donate to our medical bills, please donate via:
www.donorbox.org/waltsworld-fund and put in the notes section "vet bills"
For Wishlist Wednesday, we are also asking for donations toward our outreach bags that we distribute to children during our chained dog outreach visits. These bags currently include:
🐾 Coloring books
🐾 Colored pencils
🐾 Pencil sharpeners
🐾 Children’s books
🐾 Stickers
🐾 Small snacks
We would love to also include peanut butter and jelly in each bag so families can make sandwiches using the free bread we are able to provide as well. You can shop the Wishlist here:

Your kindness helps both animals and the people who love them. Thank you for standing with us and helping us bring compassion to our community.
