Calling all horse owners, riders, and equine enthusiasts—you’re invited to an afternoon of learning, connection, and hands-on fun at Pegasus Farm!

Come enjoy a relaxed indoor/outdoor experience where you won’t just learn—you’ll get involved with hands-on activities to build skills you can use right away. Whether you’re new to horses or experienced, there’s something for everyone.

A big thank you to the KeyBank work group who recently visited the farm to assist with our flower beds and mulching. Their efforts helped make our farm even more beautiful. After finishing their work, they received a tour of the barn and had the opportunity to meet some of our wonderful horses!

🏆 From the Show Ring to the Pegasus Arena: Meet Petey! 🐴✨

The Pegasus Farm herd has gained a true champion, and he is absolutely bursting with personality! We are so excited to introduce our newest equine partner, Petey.

If you walk into the barn, chances are you’ll see Petey keeping a close eye on everything going on—he is incredibly curious and wants to meet absolutely everyone!

Petey comes to us with an impressive resume. He has extensive experience as a decorated show horse in a variety of disciplines, having competed at the county fair, the Ohio State Fair, youth shows, and many more. He was well known in the horse community for always being “in the ribbons!” 🎀

Thanks to his extensive training, Petey has quickly become a favorite among our staff and volunteers. He has already shown us that being a therapeutic riding horse is the perfect job for him, and we can’t wait to watch him continue to grow into his role and change lives.

🐴 Welcome to the Pegasus Farm Herd, Rocky! 🐴

Meet Rocky, a sweet and handsome Bay and White Pinto pony who has already trotted right into our hearts. With plenty of experience both under saddle and with driving, his calm and cool personality made him an easy choice for our program.

He has settled in remarkably fast. If you visit the farm in the morning, you might just catch him taking a long, well-deserved nap after breakfast! 💤 We are still getting to know him, but we are so excited to see him continue to work into classes and bring joy to our riders.

Yesterday marked the final day of our homeschool session for this spring. Our homeschoolers gained valuable experience in grooming, tacking, unmounted horse handling skills, and basic independent riding techniques! Be sure to follow us on social media for the announcement regarding our Fall 2026 homeschool session. Spaces fill up quickly, so don’t miss out!
