It was a busy day as we prepared for the student horse show tomorrow. The arena was set up, horses were groomed, and volunteers and staff led the horses on a walk-through to help them get used to the safety cones, caution tape, and various course layouts. Additionally, our sponsor, Coia Sales, set up a cool Kubota Sidekick to see tomorrow.

Fall Vaulting Workshop for Ages 6 to 17

We are excited to announce an upcoming fall equestrian vaulting workshop! Enrollment is now open, and no previous vaulting or riding experience is required. Participants will engage in skill-building activities, practice on the vaulting barrel, and perform vaulting exercises on our wonderful vaulting horses.

Time: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Ages: 6 to 17 years old
Weight Limit: 160 lbs
Registration Fee: $50

Join us in welcoming our newest herd member, Buckshot!

Buckshot is a 20 year old Spotted Saddle horse gelding, and is 14.2 hands tall. With his owner, Christine Smith, he was a reliable and steady partner out on the trails. When Buckshot started showing that he was ready to retire as a trail horse, Christine kindly offered to donate him to Pegasus. In the time that he has been at Pegasus he has won volunteers, staff and students over with his gorgeous buckskin overo coat, confident personality and engaging personality, and quietness. Did we mention those lovely amber eyes? We are so excited to welcome Buckshot to the Pegasus Herd, and thankful to Christine for giving us the opportunity to work with Buckshot. We can’t wait to see him continue to grow in our program!
