Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a group from the Stark County Educational Service Center, which included students of migrant workers and their families. The gathering took place at Pegasus Farm as a welcoming event before the school year began, providing an opportunity for camaraderie and to connect with some of our wonderful herd. Domino and Dusty were the stars of the evening, enjoying the extra attention they received. Additionally, the group had the chance to observe our vaulting classes during practice, which was a special treat for everyone.

Join us for "Two Minds • One Mission," a brain-centered horsemanship clinic designed to foster calm, confident horses and build stronger, safer partnerships through understanding rather than pressure.

This special event will take place at the Pegasus Farm Therapeutic Equestrian Center. It includes a public hands-on clinic on Saturday, August 29. The Saturday, August 29 clinic is open to everyone and features interactive, brain-centered horsemanship sessions for both riders and auditors.

Participants will engage in lectures, groundwork, obstacle work, and practical exercises based on the "7 C's" of Brain-Centered Horsemanship. You'll learn how horses think, feel, and learn—and how our mindset affects them. Led by experienced clinicians Jenn Currie and Wendy Shaffer, this supportive and pressure-free clinic emphasizes trust, communication, and holistic horse wellness.

Whether you’re a recreational rider, a competitor, returning to riding after a break, new to horses, or simply looking to deepen your connection with your horse, there is something valuable for everyone at this clinic.

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting a group from Trusted Care Providers. They enjoyed a fun day out and had the opportunity to meet several of our amazing horses from the herd, including Dusty, Maple, and our miniatures, Blossom and Gidget. All the horses appreciated the extra attention!

Attention Homeschoolers! Pegasus Farm is offering two 6-week riding sessions for homeschoolers during the fall of 2026! Each lesson will include unmounted horse handling skills and a riding lesson. Content will include grooming, tacking, riding and more! No previous riding experience is required to enroll.
Weight limit: 180lbs, Cost: $270, Limit: 6 participants per session

Session options-
Monday Afternoon Session is September 14 to October 19:
Ages: 10-16yrs
Time: 1:30pm-3:30pm
