New experiences today for the numbers gang. Out in the big field!!! Their protector was Rennie. A nearly 9 year old Bullmastiff. They figured out not to call her an old lady in a hurry.

Well the Bean got so excited with all the chatter about Nationals. Then she got a bath and even more excited!! And then we told her we weren't going and she said oh well and decided to take a nap.

Today 23 years ago the world changed. Planes dropping out of the sky. Buildings collapsing. Terror on American soil as has never been before.
We mourned the souls lost and came together as Americans against the common enemy.
We vowed to never forget.

We now have a generation of people that weren't yet born on that awful day. They don't know the fear of that day. So today let's remind ourselves and let the youngsters know that we can stand together in adversity!!
