We are ready for a beautiful night of Evening Under the Oaks supporting the Darlington County Humane Society. Tonight we raise our glasses and our paddles to show our love for the animals, providing them with the resources they need to be rescued, rehabilitated & best of all, RE-HOMED 🐾

Our dynamic auction duo, Tamara Kirven & Mayor Casey Hancock look forward to being your emcees this evening & we all thank you in advance for all of the generous donations made tonight 🐶🐱🐾

"A guest came into the restaurant for dinner at Town Hall, passing through from Virginia Beach. The couple had their service dog with them. I stopped to tell their dog hello and we got on the subject of fostering and volunteering. We talked about how they were more 'dog people' than 'people people' which I laughed and said I understood. Before leaving, the gentleman handed me a donation and asked to please spend it on the shelter animals. I did just that. An act of kindness just made a lot of shelter dog’s day! Thank you so much, Cataldo Family!" ❤️🐾

🥳 YAY! After many months in our shelter, Eddie is finally in his forever home! 😍 He is still a ball of energy, playing with Sully and enjoying lots of attention. Sully is also a Darlington Darling that is in foster-to-adopt with Eddie as we consider heartworm treatment for him, and he too is fitting in great at home. Just look at those smiles! 🥰 Their family says, "We've got a wild child and a cuddler. Just perfect!"
