🐐🌞RANCH UPDATE!!! 🐐🌞
Today we introduced Jack and Basil — two 9-week-old baby bucks with approximately 14 minutes of life experience — to Link, our majestic herdsire. Link is a glorious creature with flowing hair worthy of a romance novel cover and a scream so dramatic he routinely gives himself laryngitis.

At first, Link was busy flirting with the girls next door while his handsome sidekick Zeke stood nearby being deeply suspicious of literally everything, including possibly the wind.

We thought we were just taking the little boys up to see the new playground.

We were wrong.

The SECOND Jack spotted Link, every ounce of common sense left his tiny body. Forget the does performing Olympic-level gymnastics in the neighboring pen. Forget being a baby. It instantly became:
“YOU WANNA GO, OLD MAN?”

And Link, naturally, accepted this challenge from a goat roughly the size of a carry-on suitcase.

So there they were — giant screaming herdsire versus tiny puffball baby buck — butting heads repeatedly to establish dominance over absolutely nothing important.

Meanwhile:
• Basil stood off to the side looking sophisticated and emotionally evolved.
• Zeke watched from a safe distance like someone observing a bar fight through a restaurant window.

Thankfully, everyone survived the Great Goat Showdown of 2026. No injuries, just bruised egos and supervised chaos. By the end of the day, peace was restored… mostly because we carried the tiny troublemakers back down to their own pen before Jack challenged gravity itself.

Anyway, Jack and Basil are now accepting applications for a new home before Jack tries to overthrow the entire farm.

🚨 Welcome to the Doe Dormitory 🚨

All the young girls synced their heat cycles this week, so the barn currently feels like:

* a reality TV reunion special
* a middle school sleepover fueled by caffeine
* and a WWE event nobody asked for

One is screaming at the fence for absolutely no reason.
One is flirting with the hay bale.
One started beef with another doe because she “looked at her weird.”
One has decided she’s too delicate to walk through mud and is holding all four feet up like a pageant queen avoiding puddles.
And one keeps getting the zoomies at midnight and sprinting laps around the barn like she just remembered she pays taxes.

And then there’s that one dramatic child who, the SECOND breakfast is 37 seconds late, launches herself off the stable door like she’s training for the Goat Olympics.

Ma’am.
You are not starving.
You ate 14 minutes ago.

Meanwhile the bucks are outside acting like hopeless romantics hearing a girl say “hey” in their direction:
“BE STILL MY HEART.”

Send help. Or snacks. Preferably snacks.

🚨🐐 DAILY GOAT SITUATION REPORT: COMPLETELY UNSTABLE 🐐🚨

Roll call of suspects:

💅 The Diva — refuses to eat unless it’s presented like a 5-star meal. Just screamed at me because her hay wasn’t “aesthetic.”

🥊 The Instigator — woke up and chose violence. Started 3 fights, lost 2, still acting like a champion.

📢 The Loud One — has not stopped screaming since 2007. No one knows why. Possibly just enjoys the sound of her own voice.

🥺 The Sweet Shy Baby — standing in the corner like a child, quietly judging everyone and blinking politely. Would never commit crimes. Probably.

🚪 The Escape Artist — currently halfway out of the pen, staring at me like “this is your fault.” We’ve been through this. THE FENCE IS NOT A SUGGESTION.

I went out there with snacks thinking I could restore order.
That was my first mistake.

Now the diva is offended, the instigator is energized, the loud one hit a higher octave, the escape artist sees new opportunity…

…and the sweet baby is still just 🧍‍♀️✨

Anyway if anyone needs me I’ll be negotiating with gremlins. 🐐🔥

🚨🐔🐐 IDENTITY CRISIS ON THE FARM 🐐🐔🚨

We have a situation.

The chickens…
have decided…
they are goats now.

It started small:
• Standing on things they should NOT be standing on
• Creeping into the stables like they pay rent there
• Aggressively inspecting goat business

Now it’s escalated.

Chicken #1 hopped into the goat pen like:
“yes. my people.”

Immediately got shoved by a goat and still stayed like
“this is fine. I belong here.”

Chicken #2 is eating goat feed like it’s a personality trait

Chicken #3 attempted a headbutt.

A. HEADBUTT.

Ma’am…you are a nugget with opinions.

Meanwhile the goats are looking at me like:
“you seeing this???”
“Is this real life???”

No one is stopping them. (Not for lack of trying)
They fear nothing.
They have no survival instincts.

One chicken is literally perched on the feeding trough…asleep right now….like it unlocked a new level

Anyway if anyone needs me I’ll be explaining to a chicken that it cannot, in fact, become a goat.
