Well Mills has been with us for three months now and in that time we’ve gotten to know so much more about him:
Mills is a very energetic and rambunctious pup. He walks well on a leash, however does get excitable so he can occasionally pull. He LOVES going on walks, especially when the sun is shining ☀️
Playing is one of his favorite things to do. Don’t let his small stature fool you tho, he enjoys playing rough. If you have another dog in the home, being good with rough play would be beneficial. Mills loves to initiate playing with the house dog. He does play well on his own though with stuffies, balls and bones.
Mills is eager for your affection and attention. He gets jealous if you give other dogs pets over him. He will cry until you start to give him attention 🥹
When he needs a little extra exercise, he loves playing fetch (indoors). He does great with bringing the ball back, but will make a game of giving up his prized possession 🎾
Watch out when this slinky dog 🐕 gets the zoomies, boy is he fast 💨. He will make laps around the house, sometimes he’ll even bark to ask for someone to chase him. It’s a just a big game for him
With him being so quick, a fenced yard would be a huge bonus, although not necessary. But I can imagine he would ADORE a large space to run free when those zoomies hit.
Mills sits nicely for treats, we’re still working on other commands. He likes to be a stubborn slinky. He will kennel nicely but sometimes still needs a little extra coaxing.
Mills rarely has accidents in the house. When he does, it’s typically because he got distracted playing. Very much like a toddler, he needs some reminders when he’s having a good time.
He’s highly suspicious of birds 👀, he’s not a very big fan of squirrels either 🐿️. He likes to alert you when they may be around. They don’t seem to mind his barks, cries or howls 🤣 He doesn’t take long to calm though, once hes reminded the outside is their home. Otherwise he’s easily distracted from potential annoyances with treats 🦴
Mills has stolen our hearts and deserves the most amazing forever family.
