1979 - Robb Warsing and "Silver Crystal", a grey five gaited mare who actually went on to success in the Show Pleasure division. This was from when Robb was at Auderer Farms in Dubuque, IA. The mare was probably most successful while under the ownership of Sali Melnikoff, a/k/a Jestadt. And the late Gil Romito was also one of her owners and Gil showed her as well. There is a photo in our archives of Gil upon the mare at the Berrien County Youth Fair Horse Show in Michigan in the early 80's. Gil, as some will recall, was the owner of the bay stallion and World Champion sire, General Steel
