Uptown Hounds! 🐾✨

​Today, Harmon went to visit a few of our local friends! 🚗💨 We dropped off a veggie tray and some donuts 🍩🥦 to Commonwealth Animal Hospital to show our deep appreciation for everything they do for us. ❤️

​Then, we headed over to the Harrodsburg Post Office 📬 to send out some essential supplies, followed by a visit to the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce where Harmon got plenty of extra loves! 🥰 (Sorry we missed you, Jill! Feel better soon! 💐)

​We also took a stroll by the fountain ⛲, stopped by The Lawn on Main 🌿, and walked up to the Blackbird Cafe ☕ (thank you so much for the water! 💧🐶) before making our way back down. If you stopped to say hello to us today, thank you! 💕

​Breed: Catahoula Mix

​Personality: A little shy at first, but super sweet and wonderful on a leash! 🦮✨

​Friday, August 28th, we will be bringing Harmon to downtown Harrodsburg to walk around and visit with some of our human friends! 🏙️🐕

🐾 MEET ELIAS! 🐾

​We went and met this adorable heeler mix at Boyle County Animal Care & Control today! 💙 Elias is struggling in the kennel environment and desperately needs to get into a home. 🏡✨

​This smart boy is absolute perfection! 🎾 We played ball and got to know each other, and he completely blew us away. He already knows sit, down, and come—plus, he LOVES a good game of fetch! At 40 lbs, he is pure, unfiltered bliss. 🐶💦

​He dove right into the doggy pool, and when he was done, he even opened the inside gate on his own! 🧠 Continuous thinker? Absolutely. But when corrected and told to sit, he listened right away and politely allowed his slip lead to be put on.

​⚡ What Elias Needs:

​🏃 An active home: He is driven to please, thrives with direction, and will easily become someone’s ultimate best friend.

​🤗 Balanced affection: He’s independent, but loves to check in for sweet cuddles from time to time.

​🐾 Pup preferences: He is dog-selective, but doesn't seem to pay much attention to cats (we are happy to cat-test for serious inquiries!).
