Good Evening friends of Critter Cove! We have our first order of reptiles in!! We got some Crested Geckos, a Leopard Gecko, a Chinese Cave Gecko, some Green Anoles, a few Whites Tree Frogs and Blue Eyed Whites Tree Frogs, an Albino Pacman Frog, some Amazon Milk Frogs, an Asian Forest Scorpion, an Albino Nelson’s Milksnake, and some millipedes! We will add to our reptile stock each week, so feel free to come check them out! In addition, we’ve had some gorgeous fish come in and out! We thank everyone for their ongoing support, and stay tuned for our grand opening soon!

Happy Saturday! We will be closed tomorrow, Sunday, April 20th, for Easter. To update everyone, we have most of our tanks up and running and have some basic fish stocked. We plan to have reptiles in next week and will be announcing a grand opening date shortly! We appreciate everyone’s support and hope you all have a happy Easter!

Good Morning friends of Critter Cove! We have plenty of T5 fixtures and bulbs in addition to other lighting accessories, and we are adding lots to our decor options. We also have pangea gecko food in every flavor with all kinds of feeding tools and accessories. Our Betta Botanicals order arrived for those of you interested in aquarium tannins or blackwater aquariums. We also have some exciting news! Our saltwater section is fully operational and our freshwater section is not far behind! Please let us know what saltwater fish you’d like to see and we’ll keep you updated on our freshwater section.

Good Morning Facebook friends! We have driftwood, and lots of it! We also have some beautiful enclosures from Dubia.com in addition to a great variety of frozen fish food and other products. We have some adorable jumping spiders with enclosures and some pre-mixed substrates for isopods, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and more! Hey there, Critter Cove friends! We're excited to share that we now have bulk feed available for your small mammals and birds, plus some great bulk aquascaping rocks. We've also stocked up on more Co-Op supplies and other fish products! Right now, we're busy setting up the plumbing for our fish filtration system, and we’d love to hear what fish you'd like to see in our store! Keep an eye out for a big reptile supply order coming your way soon, and feel free to tell us about any other products you’d like us to carry!

Hello friends of Critter Cove! We are making some great progress! In addition to feeders of all kinds, we have added multiple frozen fish food varieties, some fish and reptile “must-haves,” several species of isopods, and products from Aquarium Co-Op! Good Afternoon friends of Critter Cove! We are calling on all potential helpers to finish up the move tomorrow, February 22nd, and possibly Sunday, February 23rd! We are aiming for 10am - 5pm on both days. Anyone with strong backs and pickup trucks that are willing to lend a hand would be greatly appreciated. Once again, we thank you for your support!

Good Morning friends of Critter Cove! We are excited about our soft opening today. Please keep in mind this is only a partial opening; we will have feeder items available as listed in our previous post. In addition, we have frozen fish food and a small retail section available. While we currently do not have any fish available, we are working hard to get the stands built and our state of the art filtration system installed. With that being said, we are able to special order fish under the following conditions:

1. Fish must be picked up on the day they arrive (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
2. Orders must be prepaid

Our hours moving forward will be 10am-7pm Monday though Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday. Thank you all so much for the outpouring of support and your continued patience as we work to make Critter Cove the best it can be!

Hello new friends of Critter Cove! We are excited to announce our soft opening date for Thursday, February 20th! For the soft opening, we will be offering feeder insects and rodents of all kinds. While we are not quite ready to offer fish, reptiles, or other retail merchandise, we are working hard to prepare for our grand opening. We appreciate all of the support we have received; stay tuned for our grand opening announcement in March!

Hello new friends of Critter Cove! We appreciate all of the support and encouragement we have received over these past few weeks. We are excited to announce that we will be located at 50 S. Carlton St. in Harrisonburg, Virginia (directly next to Little Caesars, in the space that was Mattress Land). We are aiming for a soft opening mid-February and will update you as soon as the date is set!

Our mission is to distinguish ourselves from traditional pet shops by prioritizing animal welfare and ensuring that both new and experienced pet owners have access to the latest information and resources for ensuring the happiness and health of their pets. Our dedicated staff is here to assist you at every step, from recommending appropriate enclosure sizes to advising on the proper diet for your selected pet and more. We are committed to providing you with the most accurate and comprehensive information available.

While we don’t have a location that we can announce quite yet, we have a space in mind and are in negotiations.

We plan on regular updates and will make an announcement as soon as we can.

We truly look forward to serving you with all of your reptile and aquatic needs. From guppies to clownfish, isopods to tegus, and fruit flys to hornworms, will have you covered.
