Shanti's Place Shanti's Place is a pet dedicated place, offering services and safety accessories for our furry friends.

We recently moved to Harrisonburg and are eager to having tons of fun with as many four- legged friends as we possibly can. We are the proud parents of Shanti, a rescued black lab mix who proudly holds 3 training courses (successfully approved), and currently in the process of becoming a certified therapy dog. He is not only well-trained but also very friendly, playful, and has plenty of toys to s

hare. Both humans in the house (happily married husband and wife) work in a home office so there will always be someone looking for your beloved pooch. We have a small and cozy closed patio to hang out and look at the outside world. Nice grass area surrounding the house and a huge outdoor space for them to play fetch and run behind the house in a safe cul de sac (your pup will always be in a leash for his safety when outside the house, a 6 foot line for walk, 30 foot one for playing )
If the dog is crate-trained, and it is needed and/or requested by the dog’s owner, there are 4 different size crates available, so you won’t have to bring yours. Our Shanti was crate- trained when he was just a tiny puppy, and even though, he doesn’t use his crate anymore, it was just a great idea back then for him to use as his place to cool off, take a break or just as his private ‘bedroom’. We would love to have your doggie as a guest in our home, and Shanti would enjoy having new friends to play with.
