As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

🎉🎉EXCITING NEWS🎉🎉

The Massanutten Animal Clinic Team is growing!! Please help us welcome Dr. Ragan Kelly, who will be joining us June 15th! Please see below a little about Dr. Ragan.

Dr. Ragan Kelly was born and raised in Waco, Texas. As the son of a mixed animal veterinarian, he knew from a young age that he wanted to follow in his mother’s footsteps. He graduated with a B.A. in Biology from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and then went on to receive his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Kelly’s professional interests lie in mixed animal medicine including but not limited to dogs, cats, horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. He is especially passionate about geriatric care, client education, and nutrition.

Outside of work, Dr. Kelly enjoys anything that will get him out in nature. He is an equine endurance rider and occasionally competes in races with his Arabian mare, Grace. Additionally, he loves hiking, camping, and backpacking, especially with friends and family. When he’s not hitting the trails, Dr. Kelly loves reading a good book, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with his Munchkin cat, Mistletoe and his rabbit, Sausalito.

Hi everyone! Our office will be closed for Memorial Day, Monday May 25th. We will re-open Tuesday May 26th at 8am.
