🐾 A tremendous shout-out to Dr. Heather Carlin! 🐾
When our friends at StrayHaven brought in some very sick kittens, Dr. Carlin sprang into action. The kittens were diagnosed with feline panleukopenia, sometimes called “feline parvo”—a highly contagious and often devastating disease, especially in young kittens. 💔
Panleukopenia is one of the serious diseases our core feline vaccines help protect against, and in young, severely affected kittens, the prognosis can be incredibly poor.
But this little fighter had Dr. Carlin and our team in their corner. 💪🐱 With intensive treatment, supportive care, and a whole lot of love, this sweet baby pulled through! 🥹💜
Seeing a kitten survive an illness this severe is something worth celebrating. We are so proud of Dr. Carlin and our entire team for the care, dedication, and heart they poured into giving this little one a fighting chance.
And, of course, a huge thank-you to Stray Haven for everything they do for animals like this one. 🐾
Sometimes the smallest patients put up the biggest fights. 💜
