Been awhile since I’ve posted anything. It’s been a crazy month. We started the building of our home and just working like crazy. I got up early enough today to put out a round bale for the girls with the tractor for my first time and treated my chickens to a nice clean cozy coop and snacks.

No hate on the lead rope. After I videotaped this little bit I took the rope off. Someone was pretty testy tonight and this didn’t even catch the major of it. First go in the round pen she wanted to rear up and go backwards. I pushed her through her tantrum and she free lunged beautifully. I worked with her on mounting and dismounting then we had a beautiful ride around the pen with one major tantrum and proved that I’m the alpha in our situation. 🤦🏼‍♀️ just gotta keep working with her wherever I can. She’s got a whole lot of fire that I need to learn to hone in on.

It was a beautiful night to work a youngster. She hasn’t been messed with a whole lot since they’ve been moved to our place. She was a lot of p**s and vinegar and yet I still climbed aboard this gigantic 2 year old ba****ck of all things 🤦🏼‍♀️ She surprised me being so well behaved after the show on the ground she gave me.
