If anyone went to the carlisle reptile expo today and got animals from Beth's Critters, BEWARE!!!
We purchased guinea pigs for a client today and the animals we got are very sick. (This was not immediately obvious at the event and all issues were noticed during their initial intake inspection. )
I will be rehabbing them (if possible) before they are placed for adoption.
One has a mass on her throat, all have some type of infection, ( my guess is respiratory) hairloss and scabbing flaky skin on their bellies. Calling for vet appointment monday.
Do not purchase from this person.

Hera got an upgrade to her hospital tank today. Since she's all scabbed over she can have substrate and some climbing stuff again. She is eating small rats again!! She is healing very well and almost ready to go to her new dad! She is in blue now so we will see if this she'd opens up the wounds again or if she's fully healed. If she's healed up she will be good to go!

When your entire colony gets put on a breeding moratorium until the URI dies out. You do bougie things like install uv hepa filters for your rats lol. We are back to breeding now and expecting our first litters next week!! Time to set up the maternity wards!! Mythos Exotic Animals
