I thought someone might enjoy this picture from a few weeks ago.
These two are two peas in a pod! Rosa and Sue are sooo similar and maybe that's why I love her so much.
These two are built so similarly, have the same attitude, and are equally athletic! Rosa helped sue come out of her shell, she showed her it was ok to be a horse and run and buck and play, but also that when it is time to work to do so happily and when it is time to get caught to walk up and say hi.
I put Sue out with everyone else before I put her with Rosa and she did not get along with or like any of them. Rosa does not like when I bring new horses home and sometimes like to bully them, but the day I put her out with Sue, they were best friends almost instantly. Now that Sue has learned from Rosa, she's happy to be out with everyone (even the donkey)!
Also since the picture shows where we are, I'd like to thank Hartley Performance Horses for allowing me to bring her in. Robert Hartley specifically for taking the time to bounce ideas off of when I was really stuck, and Stacy Jo for believing in me and telling me everytime I saw her that she knew I could do it even when I was so frustrated and ready to give up. Thank you Randi for doing her feet so they were perfect for competition, and Hope for taking the leap and being the first one to clean her stall with her in it besides me! They have all done so much more but the list is too long!
Now to get some sleep because tomorrow is gonna be busy!
